Meet the Founders
Lauren Maillet and her husband Cody Maillet, started Lovebug Doodles.
“Dogs are a passion of ours and we have a great love for the Doodle breeds as well as Poodles. Our love for dogs began with the addition of our first Goldendoodle, Bentley, to our family. As Bentley grew, we decided that we would like to eventually have our own breeding program”.
Cody and Lauren are both registered nurses at a nearby hospital. Along with the love of their dogs, comes the love of caring for people.
“We have a new addition to the family our daughter Sloane, who was born August 30, 2019, and we know she is going to be a doggie lover too”.
We live in Sainte Philippe N.B it is approximately 20 -25 minutes outside of Moncton, we live on a large 70 acre property which allows ample space for our dogs to run and play. All our dogs are family to us, and as a result, we do not kennel our dogs. Our dogs have free range of our home and are often with us and love to go for drives in the car with us (especially when one of the stops is Tim Hortons).
Our goal is to produce healthy, beautful, well-tempered, family dogs that will be loved and cherished by a family of our choosing. We like to get to know each of the families our puppies are placed with and hold a huge responsibility in ensuring each pup makes it into a special and wonderful home.
Meet Camille and Denis, they are Cody’s parents. These two have the same love for dogs as we do and own Heidi, Eva and Ruby. Camille and Denis live in Moncton and raise their puppies and dogs in their home as well.
Denis is the mastermind and the builder of our beautiful nursery. They both help us out tremendously and we couldn't do what we do without them. Among having love for dogs they love Scuba diving as seen in this picture!
Meet Jennica Cody's sister .She has two retired dams and sweet Lulu who will be expecting her first litter April 2023. She often spends her time snuggling all the puppies and our babies and has aided in the birthing of our puppies.
